This is the draught seal that goes between the sash and the frame.

14) Glass thickness, i.e., single or double glazing.

We need to know what glazing units will be used so we make make the window to suite.

Window to accept single glazing units = SG

Window to accept 24mm double glazing units = DG

We will give you a price for the glass as an optional extra.

15) Pattern glass. Help?

Patterned glass required = PGR (The 'stippolyte' pattern is the usual choice)

No patterned glass required = NPGR

16) Please choose your glass strength option. Help?

Toughened glass where needed, double glazed = TG

Non-toughened glass, double glazed = NT

Toughened glass costs about 25% more than non-toughened glass which is why it is only used where it is needed.

17) Please choose your finish option. Help?

Opaque finish, i.e., sprayed white, green, red etc... = OF

Translucent stain finish, i.e., base cote and top coat stain. = TF

Opaque primer, one coat only = PO

Base coat stained, no top coat = BCS

No finish/primer required = NFPR

18) Please choose your preserver option. Help?

Preserver dipped (softwood only)= PD

Non preserver dipped = NPD

19) Listed buildings. Help?

Listed building compliance needed = LBR

No listed building compliance needed = NLBR

20) Building regulation.

Building regulation compliance needed = BRC
