The doors are manufactured at 57mm thick so they are able to accept 24mm double glazed units. No ironmongery, glass or treatment is supplied with these doors as standard; they can be purchased as extras. The table below illustrates the most common type of combinations we manufacture, but we can produce other styles on request. Please email/fax the pattern you are interested in and we will quote for it. The units below come with draught seal and beading. Please read our treatment page.

The shoot bolts go centrally into a receiver plate in the slave door or into a frame. |
A hook bolt locates into a receiver plate in the slave door. A slave door with receiver plates as illustarted below. |
A hook bolt and a sliding vertical bolt locate into receiver plates in the slave door and into the head of the frame. |
We offer a pre hanging service with our french doors. Prices for this are shown in the table below. Pictured here is the espag locking system. We highly recommend this system for quality and security. As its name suggests the doors will lock in several places operated by one handle. Its similar to the systems found on PVC doors. All these operate from one handle (with the exception of the flush bolts on the slave door). The operation of the doors is very smooth and positive. The system does not affect the draught sealing or other things you expect of an external door set, it just adds a quality secure locking system into the doors. |
