Below is a table of the charges for local deliveries. We normally deliver Mondays (excluding bank holidays) and Fridays. We cannot give a time for the delivery on the day. We can ring you before the lorry leaves here, but there may be several drops before we arrive to you. Ideally someone needs to be present to receive delivery, but it can be left strictly at your own risk and claims for damage or shortage will not be accepted. Please see below the table for a more in depth local delivery policy.
Please note that we have a limited amount of drops per day so we cannot always guarantee the day you request. Deliveries are based on first come first served. We cannot reserve spaces until the goods and delivery are paid for.
If the courier charges shown in the shopping basket are cheaper than these delivery costings, you are welcome to book it on courier, but bear in mind they will not be as careful with the goods as we are, and it may take longer to receive the goods.
The prices below are for the area, not the quantity. The charge is for as many goods as you need, up to the full lorry load. Additions can be taken up until the day before the delivery day. We cannot accept cash on delivery, all items must be paid for before delivery.

Local delivery terms and conditions
Local Delivery is charged by area, not by quantity. The minimum Local delivery charge is £20. This charge is for as many goods as you need up to one full lorry load. There is only one delivery per delivery charge, so its best to get all your goods in one run. We will under no circumstances split the delivery free of charge.
Should you wish to add more goods to your delivery, you can add them until the day before your delivery. This only applies to stock items (subject to avialability). If you require more to order goods or made to measure joinery items, we can either hold the delivery until they arrive / are made or you would need to pay an additional delivery charge.
Under no circumstances will we accept cash on delivery. All items must be paid for before they leave the shop.
We deliver on Mondays (excluding Bank Holidays), Wednesdays and Fridays only. Delivery takes place between 8am - 5pm, but occasionally may run later if we encounter any problems en route. Unfortunately, we cannot specify any sort of time for your delivery. We cannot specify morning or afternoon drops.
We can however, ring you before the driver leaves our store, so you know it is on the way. However, it depends where you are situated on his run as to how long it will take. For example, we will ring you as he leaves, but he may have 4 drops before you and it still may take 2 hours to reach you. If you are on a diffenet run, you may not be called until the afternoon.
Receiving your delivery
Ideally you need to be present to receive your delivery. The quantities and quality of goods needs to be checked at the time of delivery, while our driver is still present. Any shortages or damages must be documented when you sign for your delivery. Failure to do this may mean that any replacements are chargeable. Remember, you are signing for goods in good condition unless you state otherwise on the delivery note.
If you cannot be in to receive delivery
Goods can be left at your property by the driver. This is done strictly and completely at your own risk. Any claims for damage or shortage will not be accepted under any circumstances. It is therefore prudent to make sure yourself or someone capable is available to receive delivery. We will not leave any goods that can be damaged by the weather unless you make provision for them to be put inside eg by leaving your garage open. If we cannot leave the goods due to the weather, you will be charged again to bring the goods back out.
Collection of goods
If you have ordered incorrectly and require the goods collecting, you must pay the appropriate delivery charge. No refunds can be given until the goods have been inspected by the management. Any goods returned are subject to a minimum 10% Handling Charge. Returned goods must be in saleable condition (eg packaging intact etc) for any refund to be given. We reserve the right to refuse refund if the goods are not in what we consider to be resaleable condition.
Please make sure you check your sizes and quantities to what you have ordered, before we deliver.
If we have delivered any items incorrectly, damaged or have missed some goods off, we will bring them out to you when we are next in your area or to the latest of 7 working days.
Any damage, incorrect items or shortages must be documented and signed for as damaged, missing or incorrect at the time of delivery. Failure to do this will mean that any replacement is chargeable.
